Renske is a senior project manager on sustainable urban mobility who has worked on many different EU-funded traffic & transport projects in the past 16 years. She has been employed since 2018 by Forum Virium Helsinki: the non-profit innovation organisation owned by the city, which builds Helsinki into the most functional smart city in the world. Her work focuses on leading large cross-European projects: in the past for example on automated ground vehicles and on drones and currently also on the use of satellite data for better city planning and management. Pre-Commercial Procurement, a type of innovation procurement where cities and companies work closely together, is another expertise of hers.
