Alba German holds a Master’s in Spatial Information Applications from the Instituto Gulich at the Argentine Space Agency (CONAE) and is finishing her PhD thesis in Geomatics, specialising in Remote Sensing and Spatial Systems. Her research focuses on the use of remote sensing for environmental modelling, especially water quality monitoring. With more than 8 years of experience at CONAE, she has contributed to various environmental and geospatial projects, combining her expertise in environmental sciences and spatial technologies. She currently works as an Earth Observation expert at the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), driving innovations in Copernicus applications for the climate, environment, biodiversity and raw materials sectors. She is also an active member of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society.
